Master's degree in Law

  1. The University Council, upon the approval of the College Council, grants a master’s degree in law through:

The student submits a letter on a topic approved by the College Council based on the department’s proposal, and submits the results of his research in a letter accepted by the Discussion and Judgment Committee after discussing it publicly, provided that he obtains one of the postgraduate diplomas related to the topic of the research.
  3. Obtaining two diplomas from postgraduate diplomas, one of which is a diploma in public law or a diploma in private law.
  4. The college may organize a study to grant a master’s degree in accordance with the regulations in force in the corresponding law faculties in Egyptian and foreign universities that are internationally recognized, through specialized scientific institutes in which the study is for a period of two years.

Register for a master's degree in law

  1. The student must submit a registration request to the department to express an opinion and appoint a supervisor, provided that the thesis supervisor acts as the student’s academic advisor.
  2. The student must complete all supporting documents required by the College of Graduate Studies.
  3. Study Duration
  4. A student may not discuss a master’s thesis until after a period of not less than one year and not more than (5) years has passed from the date of registration (before the formation of the discussion and judgment committee), and it may not be extended except in cases of necessity determined by the department, based on the supervisor’s report, and the approval of the Board of Directors. the college.

Master's Degree Scholarships

1- The award of the degree shall be according to the following estimates:

  • Master of Laws.
  • Master of Laws, good grade.
  • Master of Laws, with grade very good.
  • Master of Laws with excellent grades.

2. The Discussion and Judgment Committee may award honors to those who obtain an excellent grade, and may decide to exchange the thesis with other universities if they are worth
