The community service sector is one of the most important sectors of the university. There is no value for scientific research that does not contribute to solving community   problems, and there is no value for a graduate that does not constitute a real addition to community service. Based on this exceptional role, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector aims to play an active and influential role in advancing the comprehensive and sustainable development of the Egyptian society, through participating effectively in cooperation with the parties to society in all community services with the aim of promoting the public interest and achieving Egypt's Vision 2030.
The specificity of the role of the Faculty of Law in this regard appears based on the keenness of the political leadership at the present time to bring about comprehensive development, under the concept of (the comprehensive power of the state to achieve development), through a set of initiatives aimed at maximizing opportunities for community service through the strategy of sustainable development, And the fourth and fifth industrial revolution, benefiting from artificial intelligence technologies, digital transformation initiatives, and anti-corruption strategies, and for Egypt to be a regional center for energy circulation and trade, benefiting from the Belt and Road Initiative, the Suez Canal Economic Zone, the Ain Sukhna region, the Ain Sukhna port, the 1.5 million feddan project, and new and renewable energy projects. All this and more imposes on the community service sector huge challenges in participating in this great movement by providing distinguished legal frameworks and proposals and directing the accuracy of legal research towards the emerging legal problems in order to create the legal climate to deal with these initiatives and directives.It also requires the Faculty of Law to aspire to a greater role in community service.
